EVACUATION/ EMERGENCY POLICY  

If a potential hurricane, any other emergency and/or natural disaster, is threatening our area, we suggest that you, the client, make arrangements for boarding at another facility away from the coast. Please make sure you have a copy of your pet’s medical and vaccine records on hand for other boarding facilities and/or veterinarians. We can print these for you, if necessary. If there is a pending or imminent threat of a hurricane, any other emergency and/or natural disaster, for our area, we will not accept boarders or day play participants.

Boarding:

In the event that your dog is boarding with us during an emergency or mandatory evacuation status:

• We require, upon drop off for boarding, that you leave a contact name and number of someone who will be in the area that can come and pick up your dog/dogs.

• If your dog is boarding and a dangerous storm approaches we will make every effort to contact you or your emergency contact to release them from The Pack Canine Studio for evacuation.

• You, the client, understand that we do not have the ability to relocate any pets that have not been picked up prior to an evacuation.

• If pets are left in the care of The Pack Canine Studio, they will be evacuated with the designated employee(s) and you will be notified of their location. You, the client, are responsible for any and all costs associated with the evacuation of your dog and any additional fees deemed necessary for these services.

• Should we have to evacuate, The Pack Canine Studio will not have, nor will we require personnel/employees to stay on the premises.

The Pack Canine Studio is not responsible for the arrangement of or transportation of client dogs in the event of an emergency evacuation. We will make every attempt possible to contact clients and their emergency contacts and to ensure the safe evacuation and continuous care of all dogs.
